Dr. Jones graduated cum laude from University of California at Davis in the class of 1974. During his senior year, he was honored with the Upjohn Award for clinical proficiency.
Prior to joining The Animal Doctors in 2013, he operated an AAHA-certified clinic in the San Francisco Bay Area for 30 years, and worked as Medical Director at VCA Almaden Valley Animal Hospital for two years. His special areas of professional interest include flexible endoscopy and internal medicine, as well as general surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Jones enjoys fly fishing, playing tennis and spending time with his four grandchildren. He is the proud owner of a Boston terrier, a terrier mix and two teenaged cats.
